Grief and Loss
“When we have passed the tests we are sent to Earth to learn, we are allowed to graduate. We are allowed to shed our body, which imprisons our souls.”
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross (The Wheel of Life, 1997)
What is more heartbreaking then the death of a loved one? No words can express the pain. I have often described grief as a unexpected delivery. The truck shows up, drops off the boxes and boxes of grief packages, as it leaves it runs you over. Over the years you get to randomly open the grief packages. None of them are what you asked for and you cannot return to them sender. It is your grief and grief is hard! Very hard!
